Kachourie



Ingredients:
  • 1 lb split peas soaked overnight and ground.
  • 1/3 cups flour
  • 4 chopped cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped pimentos
  • chopped chives
  • 1/2 tsp saffron powder
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • salt and pepper
  • water

    Method:
    Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into desired shapes and fry in oil until golden brown. Serve with either chutney, anchar or kutchela
