The works of the late, great, Grandmaster of Kaiso, Lord Kitchener will be featured predominantly in an upcoming stage production, entitled "The Road Make to Walk", which will run at the Little Carib Theatre in Woodbrook. Artistic Director, Davlin Thomas describes the piece as a humorous exploration of bent lives, saying: "The Road Make to Walk" is a delicious comic window to the belly of our own souls, inspired by the music of Lord Kitchener." The stellar cast includes Cacique Award Winners, Arnold Goindhan and Glen Davis, as well as veteran singer, Mavis John, who plays a jilted lover named "Maggie". Theron Shaw will serve as Musical Director, with Costuming by Natalie Phillips, Lighting by Curtis Baschan and Producer, Trevor Jadunath of J&N Productions. "The Road Make to Walk" will run for eight nights only: from June 21st to 24th and June 28th to July 1st. |
