Lime Pepper Sauce

Ingredients:
  • hot peppers
  • lime or lemon juice
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • sugar
  • salt to taste

    Method:
Get some hot peppers, wash it and remove the stems. Blend in a blender. The add the lime or lemon juice. Add enough lime ...I prefer lime juice, enough to make the sauce to your consistency. Add salt to taste. Add about a teaspoon of sugar, brown sugar is great. Blend up 3 cloves of fresh garlic. Now the fresh lime: squeeze the juice out of the lime I would do about 2 limes per pound of peppers. slice the squeezed lime into small slices. Boil the slices until the skin starts looking whitish....not too long. This process removes the bitterness of the skin. Now add the lime to the pepparsauce and there you have it. Add some white vinegar to preserve the sauce. You can also slice the hot pepper instead of blending it. REFRIDGERATE after each use.

special thanks to Marla for supplying the recipe
